Welcome to this extra course, as an alternative option to develope your socio-cultural competences.
It is suggested for B1/B2 students. during these weeks we will have a trip to different countries and their cultures by watching some some of thier most representative films, all of then in the context of author cinema, independent films.
This course it could be an option if you want to study or moving to another country, Big cities, concentrate several languages and cultures, so cinema shows a lot of sociocultural topics.
We will try to avoid the very commercial movies and all their clichés by having several proposals from famous directors, most of their works known as cinéma d'auteur.

THE SAINT PATRICK BATTALION, a brief chapter about history and relationship between Ireland and Mexico.
A big part of history is not included the books, in this case Mexico, there was a war between the USA and Mexico, but not many people know that some soldiers from the USA army joined to the Mexican side. Let’s know a little bit of that fact, en both countries, some monuments were made to remember this part of our history.
